Hi everyone, I'm planning to improve my setup gradually. Right now I have: CPU Intel i5 4460, motherboard with H81, RAM 8GB DDR3 at 1600MHz. First upgrade will be Ryzen 5 5600X, TUF B550 gaming plus, 16GB DDR4 at 3600MHz. Then I'll add an RTX 3070 GPU. Later I'll replace my PSU (currently 550W 80mm), upgrade monitor to 1080p/60Hz, and switch to a M.2 SSD. For now I'm focused on casual gaming at 1080p. Which should I tackle first—CPU/MOBILE or GPU? The next big change can wait about six months. Thanks ahead!
it's not about the voltage, it's the likelihood it's a low-grade model no longer covered by warranty, making it unsafe when paired with high-power parts. you don't require an hx1000, especially since 80 euros makes it a solid deal if it's genuine. a 650w unit should suffice for a 5600x and a 3070.
Upgrade to a stronger GPU and PSU. Add a basic SATA SSD if you haven’t yet. The i5 4460 remains a solid gaming processor.
