Hello, you're planning a PC upgrade involving a new motherboard and CPU. You're concerned about reinstalling Windows without the license keys for some programs like Microsoft Office. I found varied advice online, but it's unclear what works best. Since your parts won't arrive until next week, you might want to explore options that don't require re-downloading software or installing Windows from scratch. Let me know if you'd like help finding reliable methods! Thanks, Tuings.

I created this setup without fully reinstalling everything. However, after a few weeks random crashes began occurring. A clean Windows install resolved the issues.

Ensure the same drive and Windows 10 version are used for compatibility. Always perform backups and store license keys securely—cloud, email, or personal copies. This is just a precaution.

Hey everyone, thanks for the reply. It’ll be the same drive, just a different motherboard and CPU. I think I’ll give it a shot and find out. Appreciate the help, Tuings.
