You're considering an upgrade from your current setup. The Ryzen 5 3600 with 16GB RAM pairs well with the RX 5700 or RX 6600 models. The RX 6600 offers better performance and future-proofing, while the RX 5700 provides a solid balance for most modern games. If you aim for smoother gameplay at higher frame rates—especially with OBS open—opting for the newer models could help maintain consistent performance.

Take the 5700 XT, it's a solid choice for 144hz performance.

Was the ASUS One I worth considering given the mixed feedback about its cooling performance?

The 5700 at comparable prices is clearly the superior option. If you can find a XT within $30, go for it. At $50 or higher, things become more intriguing. The 5700 offers significantly more overclocking potential. You can update its BIOS to a 5700 version and notice a substantial performance boost. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.techspo...h-5700-xt/

I should consider this carefully. The ASUS TUF TUF ONE you linked seems more affordable than some 5700-series models, but there are reports of poor cooling performance, making it potentially the least desirable in that line. Given the price point, it might be worth weighing the savings against the reliability concerns before deciding to buy.

It seems this card lacks VRM cooling. If you actually received it, simply purchase affordable thermal pads to protect the VRMs—it should work. But doing so requires voiding your warranty.

The difference between the xt and 5700 is significant.

You might destroy the card while also canceling its warranty. Changing the BIOS often carries legal dangers since it involves modifying firmware without permission.
