I hadn't heard of the galaxy. It seems to look great. I plan to read more about it.

You can include non-stream games in your Steam collection.

You might consider utilizing keyboard macros for certain games or relying on desktop shortcuts and arrow keys/enter.

I already possess it, though it frequently gets saved elsewhere since it consumes excessive room.

Games launch fairly fast on PC in general too, depends on some, devs still slack using DirectStorage to load faster. But man, that alone wouldn't be a reason for me to use a console. I'm not holding my breath while game loads.

It's not only about the hours. It's about what needs to be done. On the PS5 I pick up the controller and the console, then the TV powers on and the game is ready. All my titles are stored together.

Just enjoy your PS5 then. A PC won’t fully mimic a console feel. Others suggest launching Steam at startup in Big Picture mode and adding other games from different launchers or direct installs into Steam. You could also use a Steamdeck connected to your TV for that experience. It seems like you’re complaining about things most people ignore. If you’re after a true console vibe, stick to the console.

I’m not complaining, just looking for ways to improve my experience. I prefer PC games with mods or FPS options and better graphics, since PS games are more expensive and some aren’t available there. I’ve got a Steam Deck, but it lacks the power needed for those settings.

The problem lies in trying to replicate the PS5 experience on your PC. It’s not feasible. Instead of repeating yourself, follow the guidance provided, as it seems you haven’t tried anything yet.

I've arrived at home. I'm exploring GOG Galaxy and finding a simple method to add games to Steam with automatic covers and other details.
