Hey everyone, I had to go to a hospital appointment on Thursday, which required an overnight stay. Before that, I was using my PC on Thursday morning without any problems. Today I turned it on and attempted to use it, but it froze completely and displayed the stop code - DPC_Watchdog_Violation. After reinstalling Windows 11, there was no improvement. I still installed Windows 10, which felt a bit better but still caused issues. I’m now trying to figure out the best way forward since this is my gaming PC and it’s important for work. While it’s nice to see my PC specs running smoothly, I’m still experiencing hangs when opening games or similar applications. I’ve updated all drivers I could find, but the problem persists. Could this be a hardware issue? Maybe borrowing some different RAM tomorrow would help, or perhaps checking the SSD could make a difference?
I believe the problem might be related to RAM. I had an issue after resetting my memory, so I tried updating the BIOS and chipset drivers. Also, ran CMD as administrator and executed sfc /scannow.
