The League of Legends client occasionally freezes when I begin a match queue, and I've observed that Google Chrome experiences freezing concurrently. The LoL client doesn’t freeze consistently, but it occurs frequently enough. When it does freeze, I can close and relaunch the client, often without needing to log in again; however, a "loading" indicator appears, allowing me to rejoin the queue. During these instances, I also encounter missing elements within the client, such as the banner displayed in image 1, and visual artifacts like those shown in image 2. Gameplay itself remains unaffected, solely impacting the client interface. Furthermore, I occasionally experience brief black screens on both of my monitors while interacting with the League client. Random black screens also occur, accompanied by audio or resulting in complete PC crashes. Notably, when League of Legends freezes, my RX 5700 graphics card’s utilization spikes to over 95%.
Whenever I experience these dark displays, all of my YouTube videos—which are playing within Chrome—either appear entirely tinted with a shade of green until I refresh the website or exhibit strange pausing glitches that I’m unable to fully describe.
