Hello forum, I’m facing a serious problem and usually I’m the tech expert, but now I’m completely lost. Every three minutes my Mac crashes, and this has been happening for a few weeks now—it’s getting worse. I can’t even use my iMac anymore. Here’s a brief history: the internal drive cable broke, so a family member came over to fix it when I was six. It then switched to using an external drive with a USB 3.0 HDD enclosure. At first it worked on Sierra, but after updating with DosDude Catalina it didn’t go smoothly, so I downgraded to High Sierra. From that point on, issues started appearing. I deleted the entire HDD—including the EFI partition—and reinstalled it. For a week it ran fine, but yesterday it crashed again. I moved the Mac to a side table because I was stressed; I wanted to play a game to relax. I need to balance work and personal time, so having my Mac as my main work device helps me focus better. My desk is small, and I have a gaming PC too. The reason for moving was I only have one desk and not a big room. Eventually, I tried to reset it by downloading Sierra from the App Store, but it froze again and didn’t work. I got a file and attempted to create a bootable Sierra USB, but it also crashed. Even Safe Mode didn’t help—CPU, RAM, and disk usage are low, so it’s not a hardware problem. Please, someone can help me with a download or troubleshooting steps.

I reached out to Apple support, they performed an internet recovery and everything worked again—it was quite strange.
