They don’t have enough power in their graphics card for intense gaming... Make your own computer, and for just $1000 you can find a solid one already.

I'll begin setting prices right away. It will be in USD, but please confirm the currency used in your country.

We're exactly where we need to be. Dabominable is just assembling things, but I'm also going to create something new.

Not the top choice, yet a solid starting point.

First rule in the tech world: nobody at Best Buy understands technology. Second rule: avoid buying any Apple products for gaming—though I might remove the "for gaming" part since it’s just my personal take that others may disagree.

I'm not in Puerto Rico, but I understand your concerns. It's tough finding the right parts or guides online. You might want to check specialized tech stores or forums where people share PC specs and builds. Let me know if you need help finding resources!

I decide how to choose the operating system based on your preferences. If you prefer OS X, it might mean you own a Mac or plan to buy an older compatible model. Linux or Windows are also viable alternatives. Your budget stays around $1,000 maximum (plus a little extra) – see http://pcpartpicker.com/p/Wy8399. For cost savings and if you don’t expect to overclock, another choice is http://pcpartpicker.com/p/zwDdcf. If you run into problems, you can seek help in troubleshooting threads or other forums, and for defective parts, you can return them via RMA or replacement.

Understanding basic PC troubleshooting and DIY tools makes it simpler to select the right parts. Assembling a computer can be straightforward, but when issues arise and you're unsure what to do, panic sets in. In such cases, opting for a prebuilt or Mac setup is often the better choice. Therefore, if you have no experience with PCs, go for a ready-made option; if you're comfortable, this forum can guide you through component selection!
