I have tried many times to update my bios as I want to install my new processor. I get the right motherboard bios update and put it on a usb drive. Then i go into my bios and go to m-flash. The right usb comes up. But when i click on it it says there is no bios update on this drive. Can someone help me get the bios file onto the right place. As every time i try it doesn't work.

You asked about the file layout on the USB drive. The structure could be either a single folder with multiple copies of the same file or a nested hierarchy with specific paths. Clarify which one you have for a more accurate description.

You need to figure out the next steps. What actions should you take?

Format the USB drive using FAT32 if Windows permits. Extract the zip archive with your BIOS, place the BIOS file and text file directly into the USB root directory without copying any folders. Restart and attempt again. Rufus can format it to Fat32 and even create a bootable USB via FreeDOS: https://www.howtogeek.com/136987/how-to-...usb-drive/

What action were taken? Ensure the USB contains the three files directly, not a folder on it.
