Working on getting my Q9650 rig dialed in. Started with an ebay found Q9650 for $22... Thermalright Ultra 120 extreme cooler from a member of the TPU forums. Motherboard is an Asus P53Q from a member at (overclockers.com). So this is a true community build. The rig started life as QX6850 but I was getting fed up with that CPU as it is difficult to maintain stability over 4.0Ghz. So we swapped it out for the Q9650 and I'm able to get 4.0Ghz right out of the gate. Settled for 4.3Ghz and I'm happy with the results for 24/7 use.
Enjoy some pictures of the build!

I enjoy those older LGA775 models. I'm planning to assemble a few locked BIOS Dell BTX units using QX9650s. I'm also checking out some 4.5GHz AIDA64 boards.

That's impressive! I aim to emulate your approach as well, since I also utilize a Q9650.
