I’m reusing it but I can retrieve my Windows key. I want to use my old hard drive, but I’m getting new parts, so I might run into an issue.

If you're not updating the motherboard, everything should work. If not, you might need to contact Microsoft.

You mean I don’t need to make any changes at all—I can just install everything and it should work fine.

The only requirements are a GPU or motherboard upgrade. A CPU swap could also handle it, but you should be okay why you're complaining.
