I’m excited about purchasing some components for my PC and am unsure which parts to choose. First, here’s what I currently have:
- Lian-li o11 mini
- MSI Z370 PC PRO
- i5 9600k OC 4.9 GHZ 1.3v
- Hyperx Fury Black DDR4 3200mhz CL16 2x8GB
- Radeon RX Vega 56 8GB
- Crucial 1TB M.2 SSD
- Cooler master SFX 850 80+ Gold
- Artic liquid freezer II 280mm
- 1080P 144hz ASUS monitor (consider upgrading to 1440p)

I plan to buy a new CPU, GPU, and RAM, while selling my old parts on the second-hand market to earn extra money. My goal is to sell the motherboard and CPU as a package for around 150 euros, the GPU for about 80€, leaving me with roughly 500 euros plus 230 euros from existing items. I also intend to buy new components from the second-hand market, as my budget is limited and I want to maximize it.

Also, please note that prices in Spain are a bit higher—like a RTX 4070 would cost around 700 dollars. Thanks in advance! 😀

The PSU in your build is how old it is, and you'll be using a specific resolution on your system. I’m not sure you’ll fit a GPU with that budget.

The PSU is almost brand new, I recently bought a 3080 and upgraded it last November. I also considered buying one, but I want to check if it’s the right choice. For the monitor, I’m aiming for a 1440p resolution with a refresh rate between 144hz and 165hz, though that might be for later.

CPU: i5 13400f
(Found for 180 second hand)
RAM options:
- https://www.pccomponentes.com/goodram-ir...x16gb-cl18 (70€)
- https://www.pccomponentes.com/gigabyte-b...ing-x-ddr4 (130€)
Storage: I don’t really need it anymore; I’m fine with what I have.

Is getting DDR5 memory beneficial right now? Probably not for now, but it could help in the future.

All these costs combined are around 230€, which is about 150€ saved so far. That leaves a lot of room for a GPU and even allows me to keep my current RAM to stretch the budget further. I might spend up to 800€ depending on what I find secondhand—there are many 3070ti options under 350€, which would fit well.

Thanks!
