I have a Seasonic 700W Fanless PSU and the aim is to supply power for two NVidia RTX 4000 ADA units (each 130W). I'm using the CableMod RT-Series Pro ModMesh 12VHPWR Dual Cable Kit for ASUS/Seasonic cables.
I’m feeling confused about connecting these GPUs.
Here are my PSU and GPU images:

GPU connectors:

- 3 x PCIe to 12VHPWR connector: https://imgur.com/a/Bvvir9v
- 12VHPWR to 12VHPWR connector: https://imgur.com/a/wxgnyUW
- NVidia adapters: https://imgur.com/a/npseitZ
I’m unsure how to link the two GPUs to the PSU and if I need extra cables. Please advise.

When addressing my own inquiry it appears I should have an extra 3 x PCIe to 12VHPWR connector. It seems likely I can only connect two PCIe connections per PSU for each card, since these cards consume around 130 W each, possibly even just one PCIe is sufficient. I think a third PCIe might be needed for the new 5090 models that draw 570 W. If someone with expertise finds this incorrect, please inform me.

Ensure your cablemod cables match the requirements of your particular PSU model.
If this isn't specified, treat it as incompatible.
Incompatible cables may harm or destroy your cards.
Recommend using the original cables provided with your PSU.

The CableMod kit is targeted at ASUS/Seasonic users, and I've managed to use one GPU effectively. Recently, I purchased an additional GPU, which has led to some new concerns.

Did Cablemod verify the exact Seasonic PSU model compatibility?
Typically, modular cables aren't assured to work with different PSU models from the same manufacturer.
Ensure your PSU includes 4 PCIE 8pin (6+2pin) cables.
Connect those to the 12VHPWR adapter as shown in your first photo.

The RT-Series (PRTS) kit you referred to is compatible with the Seasonic® PRIME FANLESS TX-700.
For your questions:
1. There are three PCIe connectors feeding one 12VHPWR; you can connect two PCIe devices or just one depending on your setup.
2. You will need a new 3 PCIe connectors to 1 x 12VHPWR for the second GPU.

There are various cards that demand different power levels. For instance, the RTX 5090 needs a specific adapter with four PCIe 8pin to 12VHPWR connectors. Your card works with a standard single PCIe 8pin to 12VHPWR adapter because it has lower power needs. You should locate the original modular cables for your PSU. These will offer extra PCIe 8pin (6+2pin) connectors. Merging these with your current 12HPWR adapter can enable you to power your card.

Thank you! I've placed an order for a new CableMod 3 x PCI3 with a 12HPWR power supply, and I'll connect just two of the three units to it.

Did you misplace or lose your original PSU cables?

Ha ha, no, but I've switched to braided cables so... I want them to match.
Best Regards
