I assembled a fresh PC and replaced the old one, switching from Intel to AMD. I'm attempting to activate Windows 10, but it's not working. I've tried various solutions but nothing seems to help. Microsoft support calls are often unproductive. I have a digital license tied to my Microsoft account, but no product key. After troubleshooting—changing hardware, updating settings, and clicking activate—I still face issues. Please assist, I've been struggling for days.

You're either getting a fake number or the connection is dropping. I usually reach out to their text help whenever possible, and they can also assist remotely if needed. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/contactus/ Just try to avoid phone support if you can.

Despite my efforts, I couldn't reach an advisor through the help app—it consistently provided a toll-free 800 number. I ended up calling the number suggested in the Windows help app by the virtual assistant.
