I'm unable to access the Chrome cache folder.
The directory you referenced contains cached files from Chrome. After modifying settings, Chrome runs faster only temporarily before a restart. Once restarted, the browser launches automatically from the cache location you set. Installing the x64 version on the RAM disk should place the cache there, replacing the previous one.
