I’m going back to Windows 10 since my laptop isn’t performing well on version 11. I don’t have access to a restore option, but I understand how to perform a clean installation. Since I only have limited space on my USB drive for documents and photos, I need a method to keep all my apps and their data without relying on OneDrive. I’m also unable to log back into the account I’m using, so I can’t use that service either. Please let me know if you’d like guidance on how to proceed.

Apps might need to be reinstalled, yet sometimes you can preserve their data depending on what you're using. A complete reinstall isn't always possible because the app stores its files elsewhere. You'll need to locate where it saves its information and then transfer that data back after reinstalling. Certain apps keep their files in hidden directories like appdata, which holds some of their data. I've experienced this before—it's not easy. Not every app keeps its data in standard locations, so it can be a tricky process. Good luck!

The simplest approach is to save all your important information and then set up a new Windows 10 version. You can copy your data onto any storage device you own (USB stick, cloud service, external hard drive, DVD, etc.). Good luck!

Protect your files by backing up to a drive, then completely erase everything and reinstall Windows 11 Plus along with all your applications. A reasonably priced 128GB+ USB stick or a 500GB external HDD costs around $35 or less, allowing you to retain only the data you require.
