Hello everyone,
I’m seeking some help and advice on overclocking. If anyone can assist me, I’d really appreciate it.
First, I want to find out if it’s feasible to overclock my graphics card and whether doing so would significantly improve performance.
My current laptop specs are:
- i5 480M, 2.66 Ghz
- AMD Radeon HD 6500M (built-in graphics)
- 8 GB RAM at 1600 MHz

I mainly play World of Warcraft and feel like my PC is running poorly. For those familiar with the game, on a 20-player raid, my FPS is around ~20 at very low settings.
That’s quite low, so I’m wondering if overclocking could help. If it’s possible, could you suggest some tools or give a brief guide on how to do it?
Thank you very much!

Are you sure your BIOS is set up to allow overclocking and additional cooling? Laptops typically have limited thermal management.

I looked into my bios and it says I'm automatically set to 1024mb... but I can't change that.
