I really can't believe that my CPU (an I5 10600k) is only running at 800 MHz when I turn up the speed to 4.9 GHz, even though I've done this many times before! It just caps at a low number in games but comes back to normal after playing. Anyone have any tips on how to fix this? My motherboard is an MSI MPG Z490 Gaming Edge WiFi.

Not doing much, I'm just sitting there and getting a cool 31 degrees C.

Sometimes, if I speed up my CPU (an i5 10600k) to 4.9 ghz for a few games, it only slows down to 800 mhz after the game stops instead of going back to normal. Is there a fix? My temp settings look okay since idle and underload, so I don't know why this is happening with my MSI MPG Z490 Gaming Edge Wi-Fi card.
