I'm struggling with this TPM BSOD issue (Event ID 15). Can you help me figure it out?
Hello everyone! I'm checking if my setup can move to Windows 11. Right now, my system stops working after about five minutes of playing a game and the same TPM error appears: "The device driver for the Trusted Platform Module (TPM) ran into an unrecoverable issue on the hardware. This stops TPM functions like data encryption. For more assistance, please reach out to the manufacturer." I'm still running Windows 10 and haven't upgraded yet. I've tried a few fixes—updated BIOS, set TPM to discreet mode, ran chkdsk, cleared TPM, and uninstalled the driver—but nothing has helped. Also, this crash doesn't produce a memory dump, which was unexpected. I also have some additional info: my system details, provider name, TPM key, and event data. My crashes seem to happen only when gaming, not when just browsing or idle. Should I consider a full reinstall of Windows to resolve this?
A full system reinstall might resolve some issues but could also introduce new ones. Consider testing with a backup before proceeding.
It's feasible. I attempted some research online but didn't find solid results. I've also shifted this to the troubleshooting section for more focused attention.
The issue might be linked to event ID 41, which could trigger a BSOD. The TPM shutdown suggests a hardware or driver-related problem. Consider checking event logs for more details.
it just resets the computer again. Or when the crash screen appears it happens too quickly I can't see anything. It doesn't even create a system dump report.
After months of investigating the BSOD issues, I discovered it was a faulty data hub. All my efforts—swapping the PSU, running diagnostics, stress testing, disassembling and rebuilding—didn’t fix the problem. The original 14-dollar Amazon hub was clearly the culprit.
