Hello everyone,
The problem I'm facing is really frustrating. My Wi-Fi has been down for about a week now. I think it began after updating to Windows 11. I've tried several troubleshooting steps:

1. On my laptop, Wi-Fi disappears when I use the phone, but works on my phone.
2. I have a USB NIC card as a backup; it also fails.
3. If not the cards or modem, I suspect an OS issue. I reformatted my PC to Windows 11 and still have the same problem.
4. I thought Windows 10 might be the cause, so I installed Windows 10 OS build 19045.2965. Still no improvement.

It's interesting that restarting the computer fixes everything for about ten minutes. I'm guessing the issue is related to the Windows 10 version, closer to Windows 11, and something is interfering. I'm considering reformatting again but with a lower build, though I'm not sure if that will help. I've already reinstalled everything on this build.

No, I haven't installed the Wi-Fi drivers for your computers.

You might want to update your Wi-Fi drivers since faulty ones can lead to various problems. Additionally, you can reset your network configuration by these steps: Press the Windows key plus X, then choose Settings. Go to Network & Internet, scroll down, and select Network reset. Click Reset now. This will reinitialize all network adapters and restore other networking settings to their default positions.

I've checked the Wi-Fi drivers on Windows 11. The USB adapter should function properly as it uses separate drivers. I'll install the latest ones for this version and monitor the results. Thanks!

Current conditions appear improved. I also experienced a severe crash and encountered the wdiwifi.sys blue screen of death. Seeing this error brought back memories of frequent issues. Upon receiving it today, I researched possible fixes. I carried out these actions: First, reinstall the Wi-Fi driver by opening Device Manager via Windows + X, locating the adapter, right-clicking and choosing uninstall, then restarting and downloading the driver from Asus. Second, update hardware drivers—download and install the firmware, chipset, and BIOS from the Asus website. Please note the BIOS section warns that altering settings can cause serious problems and may prevent proper booting. Modifications are at your own risk. Source: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/wind...bd1ff82e1f If you don’t follow up, the problem should be resolved. Also, keep in mind the instructions point to your device’s manufacturer for appropriate drivers.
