This product is a different kind of storage device. I'm not very familiar with Crucial, but WD Black is good. Would it be better to choose a 1TB WD Black instead? Also, what's the purpose of the FSP power supply? I'm not sure about FSP and its function. Titanium seems to be a high-quality material, which should be fine.

FSP is a great powerhouse. Usually on the higher end in price, yet reliable with strong internal design.

Crucial stands out as a major player in flash storage. I selected the 705p model because it offers the quickest drive available without being excessively expensive. A swift operating system drive is essential since many background processes rely on it. The quicker the CPU interacts with the storage, the more capacity it has for other operations.

Thank you. I’m prepared to proceed except for my GPU. I paid $910 for the 5070Ti, expecting to exchange it once I receive the 9070 Xt. However, those models are hard to find and might now cost around $750 instead of the listed $599, leaving me stuck. I still have three weeks before the return deadline, so I’ll begin purchasing the other parts—I’ve already got the CPU.

Is the WD Black a superior option compared to the Samsung 990 Pro? Many people believe it’s excellent.
Thanks again for your help.

The decision hinges on cost since their performance matches game storage drives well. WD tends to be more affordable.

Hi, I understand your concern about the motherboard and installing multiple SSDs without affecting the GPU performance. You’re wondering if you can expand to at least one more SSD later and whether you should use specific slots for the two you already have. Also, you mentioned hearing suggestions about switching the GPU to x8 speed. Let me know if you need further clarification.

I did. Maybe this is just a limitation of the CPU? Here is the piece I was reading about installing the SSDs.
https://www.reddit.com/r/gigabyte/commen...o_install/
I could potentially return it if there's a better board for me but not sure that would even help. If I'm stuck with 2 SSDs it's not the end of the world.

Place the Crucial 705P into the top M.2 slot, then insert the WD drive into the second slot from the top. If either of the two bottom M.2 slots is filled, the top PCIe 5.0 x16 port will operate at x8 speed. Both the x870 and x870e motherboards follow the same division of PCIe lane speeds. For graphics cards, there is no noticeable performance gap between PCIe x16 and x8 with 5.0 speeds. You may fit a 5090 in a PCIe 3.0 x16 slot without significant loss—typically 2-4%. Position your faster drives in the top two M.2 slots and slower ones in the lower two.

I believe the AIO should be placed in the front rather than the top. It doesn't fit well in the other orientation. Is a front installation just as effective as a top one? The hose is positioned quite low compared to the CPU.
