Hello everyone. Many thanks in advance for your time.

I'm having some issues with the new COD on PC. It mainly crashes at random times, and I’ve tried posting on different forums related to the game without any luck. So I thought I’d ask here for solutions.

I have an i5-6600k processor, a GTX 1080 graphics card, and 16 GB of RAM. Notably, my CPU usage spikes significantly when I play, even though my specs should be sufficient to handle the game. Additionally, there’s a program called “ntkernel” that seems to use a lot of resources – I'm not sure what it is.

I’ve reached out to several forums and haven’t found a solution yet, so I’m hoping you can help me troubleshoot this. Thanks again for your assistance!

Is it just crashing or is the PC itself failing? Any sudden freezes? Error messages popping up?
Have you checked the temperatures of your CPU and GPU? Call of Duty has a built-in monitor, but it doesn't work for me in multiplayer. Try using HWMonitor – it’s free. Open the app while you’re gaming, then check the information afterward. What was the highest temperature reported?
Are all your drivers up to date (Windows and graphics card)?
Are you overclocking your CPU or GPU?
