I'm setting up my first PC.
It’s really late, so there could be some typos. My friend and I are assembling my PC with an EVGA 3060, an MSI Tomahawk Max B450 2, an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-core 12-thread GPU, 32 GB DDR4 RAM, a 650W power supply, and a Corsair 4000D case. Everything seemed to work at first. I installed the BIOS and then needed to buy a USB stick for Windows installation. When we returned, the motherboard reported an issue with the VGA. We tried different configurations and checked the power supply. After replacing the RAM module from A1/B3 to A2/B4, the problem disappeared. The CPU was acting up, so we examined it—no bent pins found. We ran the system without the cooler, but it didn’t help. It’s 11 PM now; he said he should go home. We’ll tackle this tomorrow. Anyone have any advice or clues about what went wrong?
It appears the device is powered on and the power button has been pressed. The screen displays a series of options, likely including a logo for your motherboards. You can navigate through these choices in a specific order, such as selecting BIOS settings or boot menu. If no clear path appears, it may indicate an error or a malfunction.
If you're referring to the "debug" indicators on the motherboard, they switch through their states and then update. This behavior applies to all MSI motherboards with those lights. The problem arises when the system stalls on a single indicator for over a couple of minutes. Additional information would be helpful.

Is there any display visible upon startup? Would waiting a moment help reveal anything? It often takes around a minute to boot, sometimes longer. Usually I’d assume the BIOS wasn’t updated, but you mentioned you managed to boot and enter the BIOS—this suggests your hardware is compatible. Now it seems something might have changed or failed since then.
It seems you're noticing an issue where some motherboards won't boot without a fan connected to the CPU fan header. You might need to reattach your heatsink and link the heatsink fan to the header above it, which should be marked as CPU fan. Test it and let me know if anything differs.
I connected the CPU cooler and the graphics card fans remain inactive
No alterations were observed beyond securing the heatsink and connecting the fan.
