I possess eight LGA 1151 chips—Celerons and Pentiums (G3900, G3930, G4400). Since they’re hard to find, I decided to assemble PCs in boxes and donate them to those in need within my neighborhood. I already have the CPUs and RAM. Right now, I’m mainly searching for motherboards, though they tend to be pricey for non-OEM options. Mostly I’ve checked eBay, but also Alibaba. I’d rather avoid Alibaba if possible. At the moment, OEM boards are on my list, but I need your guidance. I understand many of these boards use unconventional layouts, which I’d like to steer clear of. From the pictures, I can spot 24-pin power from a PSU and a 4-pin CPU connector, but I’m not sure about standard CPU cooler mounting spots. Could someone in the community help me identify the right OEM boards? I’m aiming for prices under $15, with a maximum of $20. As a side note, I’ve managed to get some coolers, drives, and fans. I’m also looking for PSUs that I can build OEM for, provided they have standard features like 24-pin power, 4/8-pin CPU, and at least one SATA port. The case shape isn’t important to me. I’m also flexible with PCs on eBay as long as they’re affordable enough. I know some sellers might have machines missing parts like drives or CPUs. All I need is your assistance in locating suitable options.

The layout for the motherboard shouldn't be crucial if you're just placing it in a box. I recommend checking eBay for affordable options that fit your socket and chipset requirements—verify CPU compatibility on the board's site, as most manufacturers restrict their boards to specific CPU generations. Also, browse Craigslist or the FB Marketplace; people often offer complete machines for free.

They do appear. Sure, they aren’t the best, but since you’re also working on cooling the Pentium, it doesn’t really make a big difference.
