Here’s the issue: I own a gigabyte Z790 motherboard with two 16GB Corsair Vengeance RAM sticks and an RTX 4070 Ti. My RAM slots are 2 through 4. When I go to ICE to adjust the RGB settings, it indicates slot 4 is the only available slot. Boom! I checked BIOS and it lists both slots. I tried swapping slot 2 with slot 1 and after a few tries, the GPU still won’t show up. Putting it back in slot 2 works temporarily, but it’s still not detected by ICE. Need advice.

The RAM display appears even when you can't manage it. It also shows up in BIOS or Task Manager, displaying the complete 32 gigabytes.

Displays the RGB value on the bios, yet it isn't recognized by the icon.

It seems one of the RGB controls is damaged or chipped. I don’t recommend using the warranty, so you’ll likely have to accept this limitation.

Man, thanks for the assistance. I'm still puzzled about why placing the second dram in slots 1-3 makes it stop showing.

Due to the way the CPU interacts with the RAM slots, this is completely typical behavior. Make sure the RAM stays in slots 2 and 4, for example. That means if the CPU can't detect any RAM in slot two and then none in slot four, it won't show anything as the IMC is connected to the motherboard traces (this should make sense).

I’d like to test the setup with slots 1 and 3 active. It’s important to consider whether proceeding with an RMA makes sense for a faulty item.

It appears the RGB settings are not stable, though the RAM seems to be functioning normally. A small issue with the color control might be the main concern.
