I handled everything completely. I studied all the instructions and spent hours testing. It doesn’t matter if I tried or not—I did. For dedicated servers, check the official guide here: https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/Arma...ted_Server. I don’t need to manage that hassle anymore. I just want the game to function without complicated fixes. Just set up multiplayer or start a server and it’s done!

You redirected traffic through two ports and successfully allowed a friend access to your server.

It's actually quite straightforward. I forwarded two ports, set up a server in-game, and a friend was able to connect. Perhaps you should check for additional settings or configurations, or maybe it's something with your own device or the router, rather than Bohemia's fault.

It's not your responsibility. Check forums for help. Examples include Steam community, Reddit, and Bistudio discussions. Friends also tried portforwarding but it failed. The issue has been ongoing since May 2014 and was recently updated. Official support reached BIS without resolution.

When using tools like Hamachi or Evolve, it indicates the server creator is functioning correctly. Avoid relying on a dedicated server; ensure all ports are properly mapped and selected. Connect directly to the server using its IP address instead of joining through Steam, which can be inconsistent. Verify you're running the application with admin privileges, add arma3.exe to your firewall whitelist, and allow full network access via the firewall settings (a pop-up may appear if Windows Firewall is enabled).

I finished everything myself. My friends prefer not to rely on external tools. The length of my message was because I wanted to skip all the advice I’ve already attempted. I detailed each step I took—everything I mentioned was just for clarity, not for personal enjoyment. This wasn’t meant to entertain anyone; it was to share what happened. EDIT: Thank you for your effort in helping. I realize my tone might have come across as rude, but that wasn’t my goal. Sorry if it felt that way. I’m not here seeking solutions; I just needed to express my frustration. Especially highlighting how that support ultimately sealed my fate.
