I'm currently not at home, which means I can't do anything right now.
My main system is running Windows 7 for the time being.
Once I perform a clean install on an old, slow laptop with Windows 7, I'll consider upgrading it to see how it performs.
If that works out, I might upgrade all my computers in the house to Windows 10.
But if it doesn't work, I'll probably keep everything on Windows 7.

Typically I perform a fresh setup. A single machine will retain the existing version, since the new one will arrive shortly.

Keeping the system on 7/8 for a week or so helps Nvidia patch drivers and fixes major issues. I also need a new HDD for backup storage.

I plan to hold off until the summer term ends in case the upgrade doesn’t work on my school computer. Then I’ll check if Windows 10 is functioning properly before deciding to upgrade my main machine.
