I'm upgrading my current PC by swapping a few components. I need something decent or better, but not too much extra. My Minecraft setup uses more than 4GB of RAM, which slows things down a lot—lol. There’s no price on the graphics cards. I’m considering the ROG RTX 3090 24GB and wondering about the different models. Probably the 5950X version. Crosshair might work with around 64GB RAM, though that’s not essential. Storage should be fine now; an SSD of 1TB might come later. The GPU itself has low SLI support, so it won’t help much. I don’t think I need a new power supply, so I’m not worried about that. I’m okay with whatever works under 3k, but I still need a good monitor. Any suggestions?
3090 is not worth the investment for gaming. 5900X offers better value. 64GB RAM is excessive—opt for a solid 16GB or 32GB setup.
