I recently received a new router and modem package and connected it directly to my PC using a Cat6 cable. Whenever I need to restart the router, my computer automatically pauses for several hours, restricting me to only browsing Google, Facebook, or YouTube. I've tried adjusting the IP address settings and reinstalling the driver for the Cat6 cable, but nothing seems to resolve the issue. Any suggestions?

Consider a big idea: run CMD as an administrator and execute ipconfig /flushdns. It might be worth a shot, even if you're not sure it'll succeed. Switching the local IP to dynamic could also make a difference.

It seems your account is still not working properly. After taking a break, I couldn’t log in, and now Steam shows you’re offline with no access to sites.

It seems like you're wondering if the issue was resolved for you. What worked for you?
