I'm considering purchasing a Wi-Fi card with an antenna and have concerns about compatibility. Regarding the antenna: https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B08FX3Q...LDSEOIKRMV Talking about the antenna: https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B0BN7ZD...GLTR4UTMMM This might help you decide.

You'll need antennas for a Wi-Fi card whether it's a laptop or not. They'll be smaller versions, likely like these. This seems intended for desktops because laptop antennas are much larger. If you're purchasing a laptop Wi-Fi card, choose a PCIe model that fits into a free PCIe X1 slot on your system. Amazon has the TP-Link N300 PCIe WiFi Card listed.

I wasn't sure about his plan to use a laptop. It seems some models don't come with built-in Wi-Fi antennas. I'm in agreement—opt for a PCI-E Wi-Fi card if you're moving to a desktop setup.

Likely swapping in a new Wi-Fi chip, since most modern laptops already have it and only very low-cost models lack it.

It's designed for a desktop with a slot that fits this card, not a PCIe slot. Using one that would occupy an internal USB port would conflict with your motherboard's single USB slot.

you're thinking about adding Bluetooth as well, maybe that's the main concern

The mainboard referenced is the Intel B760 Pro RSD4 model.

Hello, here are your two concepts. I own a NZXT model because I lacked internal USB headers (sorry for the US references). For the other option, you can use an antenna kit along with an M2 card and drill two holes in an extra PCI slot cover or case—just be careful not to get metal shavings inside. Once done, mount the antennas into the holes and connect them to the card. You're all set!

the board features openings for attaching antennas, but your main concern is whether the link between the card and the antenna functions properly
