I'm having trouble adjusting the CPU frequency manually on my r3 1200 with game boost enabled. My b350m gaming pro is working fine, but I need help.

So I checked and I'm not sure about the right voltage or overclock settings for the R3 1200. What's the best voltage to use? And how much should I increase the CPU speed?

OCing isn't a precise process. You should raise the settings gradually, checking each change for consistency, until you reach a point where further adjustments aren't possible (leading to an unstable configuration). After that, revert to your most recent stable setting and maintain it.

There are system-specific factors that make it impossible to claim a single, universal setting for your configuration.

So now you understand it, but the only question is whether to keep the game boost enabled or disable it from your motherboard BIOS.

I increased the r3 1200 to 3800mhz and adjusted the voltage to 1.3 in Ryzen Master, saving it in my profile. I ran the benchmarks and everything functioned perfectly. However, I still can't manually overclock my CPU to 3800mhz through the BIOS settings on my MSI B350M gaming pro motherboard.

they did it for the first time, but when I tried it again it worked fine. give it another go to see if it helps, and definitely make it fun and easy!
