You recently bought a Thinkpad running Windows 10 X64. You’ve noticed some crashes linked to error codes 1001, 10010, and 10016. It’s worth checking if these issues are typical for Windows 10 and looking into possible solutions. -KD

I've never encountered them, and my system crashes only once during startup.

never experienced any crashes except during an unintended attempt to push my 8320 to 4.7ghz without adjusting the voltage

I'll monitor the event viewer and keep checking for recurring issues... clearly an OS problem, KD

I experience fewer issues with Windows 10 compared to others. It has been functioning perfectly for me. However, I use a customized prebuilt version from Dell. At the recent Windows 10 press event, Microsoft was mentioned alongside Alienware, and since Dell owns Alienware, it seems like a clever connection.
