Greetings everyone,

I’m planning to assemble my initial 1080p gaming computer in the near future – likely for the holidays. My budget is approximately $930, with a possible maximum of $950. Considering I reside in Bulgaria, this translates to roughly 1600 lv / 1630 lv. I'm seeking substantial assistance, as I’ve spent two months attempting to determine the ideal hardware selections. My intention is to utilize a Ryzen 5 2600 processor with 2x4GB of RAM configured for dual-channel operation. I’m significantly perplexed regarding the remaining components and feel apprehensive about both the power supply unit and the cooling system. I’m also uncertain whether a 1060 6GB would be feasible within my price range, or if opting for a 3GB Dual Radeon or an MSI Radeon RX 580 8GB Armor OC would be a better choice. I’m using https://ardes.bg/configurator as my platform for constructing the PC. Furthermore, I haven’t previously assembled a computer system – even basic component installation – so I might consider utilizing Ardes' PC assembly service, which would cost around $29.50. Any guidance would be gratefully received!

This setup appears satisfactory. My primary concern is the absence of an SSD for booting—using a 2TB, 5400rpm drive as the primary drive would feel somewhat sluggish to me. However, individual preferences vary.

You might want to investigate options like:
https://ardes.bg/product/250gb-ssd-cruci...sd1-106916
or
https://ardes.bg/product/500gb-ssd-cruci...sd1-108811

Combining a 1TB hard drive (preferably with a 7200rpm speed) alongside a 500GB SSD would create a more pleasing experience, unless you prefer to store all your data on a single drive.

I’m exploring some potential PC configurations – see this list: https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/JkkZD2 (I was unable to access this site due to language restrictions). Approximately $950 would represent 830 Euros.

I appreciate your previous advice, which appears to align well with my budget and requirements. I’d value your assessment of this alternative build below:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 (3.4 GHz) – $215
Cooler: Gelid Solutions Siberian Pro – $12
Motherboard: ASRock B450M Pro4 – $103
RAM: 2x4GB DDR4 3000 Team Group T-Force Vulcan – $88
Hard Drive: 2TB WD Blue WD20EZRZ – $76
Graphics Card: MSI Radeon RX 580 8GB Armor OC – $279
Case: COUGAR MX310 Black – $46
Power Supply Unit: 550W Seasonic Focus+ 550 Gold – $103
Assembly Costs – $28

Thank you once more for your assistance.

The configuration appears satisfactory. My sole concern is the absence of a solid-state drive. Utilizing a 2TB 5400rpm hard disk as the primary boot device would not align with my preferences for speed, though individual needs may vary.

You might want to investigate incorporating a 250GB or 500GB SSD, such as the models available at:
https://ardes.bg/product/250gb-ssd-cruci...sd1-106916
or
https://ardes.bg/product/500gb-ssd-cruci...sd1-108811

Combining a 1TB hard drive (preferably with a 7200rpm speed) alongside a 500GB SSD would yield a more desirable outcome, unless you prefer to house all data on a single drive.

Hello,

I really appreciate your guidance. I apologize for the late reply; my work has been exceptionally demanding over the past week and a half. I’ve decided to incorporate a 120GB SSD from Kingston A400 (which will handle the operating system and boot files). I consulted with a technical support representative at Ardes.BG, and they suggested the ASRock Fatal1ty B450 Gaming K4 – B450 GAMING K4 motherboard (an additional $40) would be a more suitable option, as my initially selected board requires a BIOS update and may not initiate correctly upon startup. While this exceeds my limited funds, I’m prepared to invest a little more for this motherboard if it truly resolves the potential issues. Furthermore, I’ve included the Deepcool XFan 120 for approximately $6. I plan to place the order tomorrow or most likely Wednesday, considering my weekend work schedule; the support technician indicated a delivery timeframe of up to three days. It’s frustrating, absolutely!
