I'm concerned the GTX 1080Ti might slow down your gaming experience. The main upgrade would be the GPU, as the CPU isn't the bottleneck.

You’d have to go all the way to an i9, but a 1080 shouldn’t be limited by a 7700k

Your GTX 1080 Ti won’t cause a bottleneck, while an i7 8th generation offers significantly better performance for similar costs.

The game is still ongoing. I wouldn't alter any hardware until the final version is released.

Your rig performs exceptionally well and no improvements are necessary right now. Plan to upgrade later for better performance.

You're fine with those specs, no need to change. The game is mostly server bound right now, I haven't noticed much of an fps bump upgrading from an X58 Xeon to a Ryzen 7 2700X (running with a 980 Ti on a 1080p screen so I have no issues GPU wise). The next big patch, 3.3, is coming in September IIRC. It should optimize the game a little more and fix some other stuffs so we'll get a bit better fps.
