Do you know about circuits and electricity? Starting with DC circuits is a good place to begin. Without understanding components like capacitors, gates, transistors, triacs, and diodes, it's hard to build a motherboard. Use the internet for more information.

I'm an IT student with a grasp on programming, but I've never studied circuits or electricity. That's okay—I'm ready to begin there.
