It's quite costly for a G25. By today's standards, it feels outdated, though the G25 was released in 2006—still using older technology. Running G25/27 systems on modern operating systems can be uncertain; people usually rely on Beta versions or very old Logitech drivers. I’d likely skip this option.
It seems like you're expressing a desire to stop or give up at this moment. If you'd like advice or support, let me know how I can help.
My G25 functions smoothly on Windows 10 without any unusual behavior. I haven’t upgraded to version 11 yet. Regarding the technology, Logitech hasn’t been actively improving their products for two decades. The main distinction between my G25 and G920 is that the newer model includes proper Xbox buttons and avoids the deterioration seen over time. The updated shifter actually performs worse since it no longer supports sequential mode.
It seems the latest version has some significant problems. Minor tweaks to the FFB and Torque work better on newer models, though the new shifter lacks a sequential mode. The TH8A is a solid upgrade with both features. My Moza H-Pattern shifter is really liked—it feels much smoother than the TH8A, but again, no sequential mode either.
