Are you referring to moving the Windows license from your current laptop to a new tower? No, OEM licenses (the default ones on laptops) are linked to the device. Retail licenses, however, can be transferred.

I've noticed occasionally you might receive one additional use from an OEM license. It's worth testing, though you shouldn't rely on it. Break the key with this link: https://www.nirsoft.net/utils/product_cd...iewer.html

You can also set up an unofficial version. Additionally, consider using Linux, Ubuntu, or Mint. These options perform all the functions Windows offers, except for certain gaming requirements.
