I'm here to help. What's the issue with the driver?
I experienced a problem earlier with my HDD (it crashed), so I had to reinstall Windows on my SSD. I downloaded the drivers from the Driver CD that came with my Asus Z97-A and everything worked fine. When I upgraded from Windows 8 to Windows 8.1 via USB (no product key), the LAN driver stopped functioning, or at least I couldn’t connect to the internet until I uninstalled and reinstalled it. My concern is whether I should also reinstall other drivers. It seems only one of them needed reinstallation. The other two—Intel Management Engine Components and Realtek Audio Driver—are visible on the uninstall page. How can I check if they are working properly? Thanks.
Thank you for your message. Yes, it’s normal for Firefox to consume around 10% of the CPU during refresh or when loading a new page, especially with a high-end processor like the 4790K. This usage level is typical and not unusual.
It might relate to the chipset drivers. Consider updating or reinstalling them.
