Turn off the PC and remove the watch battery from the motherboard. This should perform a hard reset, clearing all settings. Keep the battery outside the board for about 15 seconds before reinserting it. This will reset the BIOS. You can also access the BIOS on the motherboard and set everything to default, which will erase RAM and overclock settings. Another option is to back up your data. Reset Windows 10 in settings when prompted; choose 'no' to avoid a full factory reset. Remember to keep any email used for registration. And pw

You won't be able to heavily customize a rocket lake chip on that board since it only supports a 12 phrase VRM, which means I wouldn't expect much success. Rocket lake consumes a lot of power and generates heat during OC unless you're extremely fortunate with the silicon selection.

Thank you very much for the advice!
These options all seem promising, but my goal was just to get her back to how things were before the MSI issues caused problems. I’m not trying to mess with the whole PC setup.
It probably wasn’t just about overheating—it might have been about reaching full performance limits.
Kira-faye mentioned something similar, so I’m still unsure what I was doing.
In the end, I removed all MSI-related settings and enabled features like CPU boost, XMP, and Resizable BAR. Everything seems to be working now.
Thanks again for your help, and I’ll keep considering cooling solutions as I go further along.
