Hey guys, I am stuck with a fix I cannot do myself. My CPU and RAM are not getting their top speed because I need them at 3900 Mhz for the CPU and 3000 Mhz for the RAM, but it won't work that way. When I put those numbers in my BIOS, they change when the PC starts. The CPU drops to 3400 MHz and the RAM drops to 1300 MHz. I have an Asus Prime B450. If anyone knows how to fix this for me, please tell me. Thank you very much.

do you need a complete list of specs, like the brand and model number for the power supply unit?

My computer stuff: Asus PRIME B450M-A, a Corsair power supply rated at VS650 with 80 Plus White efficiency. It's set up for AMD Ryzen 7 2700 processors running at 4.1 Ghz speed. I have a PowerColor Red Dragon graphics card called Radeon RX 590, which has 8GB of GDDR5 memory in the red dragon design. My storage comes from Seagate BarraCuda with a 3.5 inch hard drive holding 1TB of data using SATA3 technology. For RAM, I have Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 that runs at 3000MHz speed (PC4-24000) in my 16GB configuration made from two blocks of 8GB each with CL15 timing specs.

do you try to overclock the CPU? Did you use an XMP setting for your RAM, or did you just change things manually when starting up the computer?
