Eventually after several months using my SSD, I finally secured enough space for the OS and games thanks to Linus's new video guide. I started with a Samsung Evo 500GB SSD and used "Samsung data migration" which created duplicates of everything. This resulted in a lot of unnecessary files on my drive, so I removed a significant amount. Now I encounter strange errors. These issues stem from several sources: the PC Gamer site isn't functioning properly and is redirecting to an incorrect URL (http://gyazo.com/f27de2b3c86424646a3e04491aaa775f), Skype is prompting me to download files unnecessarily (http://gyazo.com/ef95e295ff95beef6533667a287e8cd8), and GeForce Experience is displaying numerous errors (http://gyazo.com/4394f41f347e3d81800094717c455760). The Gyazos seem to be merging unexpectedly. So, what should I do? Also, note that Gyazo is a tool for taking screenshots easily.

Data transfers usually lead to these issues. Restarting is the best solution. Or perform a complete Windows reinstall if problems persist.

You could clear the SSD, restart Windows, and run the programs yourself to reinstall everything.

Remove or delete any problematic software and reinstall them. If this doesn’t resolve the issue, then format the SSD and perform a fresh Windows installation.

I've reinstalled it multiple times, but it still doesn't work. They offer "Skype for web." To start fresh, do I need to purchase another copy and how would I erase the drive? I bought it so I can use my existing code, but I've already used it. Happy New Year!

It seems you really need to reinstall Windows. No need to worry about the CD key—you can use it again since it’s the same system. The easiest way is through the Windows installer.

I’m still figuring out the process. Since you don’t have the CD or USB drive, there’s no direct download link available. If you have a product key, you can use it during installation. For guidance, I can walk you through each step clearly.

I haven't done it from USB. Nor have I put windows installer on USB. All my windows installs (XP, Vista, 7) are done with CD/DVD but process is same. Only USB installer I've done was for Ubuntu but again, same process. Here's the Linus how-to video: Here are dl links for Win7 ISOs. If you have Win8 or 8.1, use Microsofts own service. http://www.techverse.net/download-window...l-servers/ Download the .iso, get windows USB installer tool, find 8gb (or any 4gb+) USB stick and format it. Use the tool's wizard. Go into BIOS and select USB to be 1st boot device. Boot into installer and follow this guide http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/164...s-7-a.html The guide there is really good so you should be fine. Oh, and here's the WIndows USB tool as bonus http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/...nload-tool
