Recently I chose to upgrade my GPU because I believed my RX 480 was experiencing thermal throttling. When temperatures reached around 75-80°C, the GPU usage would decrease and stuttering would start. At the same time, I noticed my RAM configuration on the motherboard was incorrect, which limited me to a maximum frequency of around 2800MHz. Now it’s running at 3200MHz. My friend gave me his RX 570, which he hadn’t used before. After installing the new GPU, performance improved slightly but not significantly. I still face noticeable stuttering in most games, except for a few. However, my GPU temperatures are now stable at about 60-65°C, though usage is still decreasing and stuttering occurs. During these stutters, I manage to achieve frame rates between 60 and 110 depending on the game. Some titles run smoothly, like Rainbow Six Siege, while more demanding games cause issues. I’ve tried various optimization steps—adjusting Windows settings, disabling the Xbox game bar, changing power settings—but nothing seems to help. One issue I’m facing is that two of the 10-pin power jacks on my modular PSU aren’t working. Even when I attempt to connect them, the computer shuts down, and I don’t receive any video signal. This makes it hard to diagnose what’s happening. If anyone can assist me, it would be a huge help.

verify the temperatures of your CPU
to see if there might be an issue: run userbenchmark.com and share the link to your results, for example: https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/28977730
did you use the original cables from your Antec PSU that came with it? others won’t work

Yeah i mean as you say its old. But yeah to reaffirm, you only use cables that are provided, or are made with the HCG pinout in mind, right?
And yeah, we need CPU temperatures and preferably also the clock speed as the app runs. I know some 1st and 2nd gen Ryzen have issue on the BIOS that prevents it from turning on precision boost and is basically locked at base clock.

CPU stays well below overheating thresholds, so it's okay. I'll run the benchmark anyway and share the findings—yes, these are the original cables, but it's unclear why they'd affect performance. No major concerns here.

It should perform well even at the base clock, particularly for the tasks I'm working on.

Someone on another forum claims first-gen Ryzen won’t maintain 3200mhz stability most of the time, but I doubt that. I notice many people use 1600 with 3200mhz RAM regularly, so I’m planning to experiment with my own RAM speed too.

They are stable post AGESA 1.0.0.8, which was nearly four years ago. They aren't as reliable as the Ryzen 5000 series (particularly the Cezanne family of monolithic Ryzens), but they still work adequately for running at 3200MHz on D.O.C.P. If you haven't upgraded the BIOS from the previous release, now could be a good time to do so.

It might be possible. I experienced a significant stutter problem on Osu!Lazer with the 6700XT and needed to fully remove my AMD GPU driver. I thought you had already attempted that.
