You're trying to set up your PC with a Prime B550M-A Wi-Fi II and a Ryzen 5 5500 CPU, but you're having trouble getting the necessary drivers. Let's troubleshoot together—have you checked the manufacturer's website for the latest drivers or firmware? Also, ensure your motherboard is compatible with both the Wi-Fi card and the CPU model. If you're still stuck, consider reaching out to the manufacturer's support for a potential hardware issue.
I've attempted various methods to retrieve the files. It should be possible to download from the Asus website. If you're experiencing an internet connection issue, consider using a LAN cable to connect. Try downloading drivers on another computer with internet access and then transfer them to your PC. Please share more specifics about your issue.
so my actual problem is that im building the pc to sell and i need wifi to sell it cause a lot of people use that more than lan and ive already gone through asus for the drivers and it told me my windows 11 wasnt supported so im not sure where to go because i cant even search for the drivers in device manager and i have ethernet hooked up for the mean time until wifi works
Choosing Windows 11 on the ASUS site provides drivers specifically for that OS. The listing mentions an Intel Wi-Fi Driver version compatible with both Windows 10 and 11.
The installer requests adjustments to your PC, but afterward it fails to respond, creating another issue. It seems downloading the ASUS AMD chipset driver—already having all other drivers installed, including the official R5 5500—might resolve the problem or improve communication with other ASUS components.
It should only handle installing the driver. You can also open Device Manager, right-click your Wi-Fi adapter and choose manual driver setup. If you downloaded the ZIP file, look for .INF files in UWD\Win64\Drivers and pick them when prompted.
