I acquired a gigabyte gtx 1660 super factory oc recently. I attempted to download drivers but the installation stalled about one-third and the computer restarted. I don’t understand why this occurs. The device also doesn’t show up on my PC or M-Size afterburner, even when the monitor is connected.

You can try to run DDU ( Display driver uninstaller ) And see if you can remove any traces of previous drivers. This is one of the first things to try if something driver related is bugging out. https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/dis...nload.html

If it works, please confirm. Otherwise, we'll dive deeper and resolve the issue.

You have multiple memory modules, but because of the DDR3 architecture, they operate in single-channel mode. This affects performance—higher RAM capacity doesn’t speed things up; it just increases latency. Lower capacity might run faster, but you’d need fewer modules to achieve similar results.
