In short, I purchased this because my work laptop is causing issues and I need a more powerful machine for learning Linux and other projects. I’m working remotely from home using a virtual computer, which required a strong system to run the necessary programs. The company provides a secure desktop OS, but booting from a flash drive on my current laptop was difficult—I’ll share screenshots of the BIOS settings if that helps. Thanks ahead of time, and let me know if you need more details.

Your boot configuration appears correct. I recommend testing different USB connections. Also, consider turning off silent startup to check for any error notifications.

Tried diable quiet boot captured the attached image, which shows a "new" screen. No error alerts appeared immediately after the new display; instead, it started with a very pixelated Windows launch before moving to full resolution. I've tested two different USB ports (all 8 total), but they didn't resolve any issues. It seems the system occasionally reported boot failures during reboots, though only a few times and not on the first attempt. After switching the removable disk to the primary boot slot, it worked. Navigate to "hard disk drive priority" and choose the USB setting.

Successfully connected via USB, thank you. My searches on Google and forums didn't lead me there. I hadn't considered prioritizing the removable drive over the hard drive. Appreciate the help!
