The router and Wi-Fi still work at 5GHz, but it doesn’t show the 5GHz option in the device settings.

This problem typically arises when Windows Update installs a faulty driver. Consider installing the genuine driver directly, disregarding any mention of Windows 11—it should function properly even on that version.

Did you adjust your router to use identical or varied SSIDs for both 2.4 and 5 GHz bands? Your setup seems to have separate ones, but if the 5 GHz network isn’t visible, it might be due to a faulty driver.

Sometimes I need to reinstall my driver because Windows installs faulty versions instead of the official ones. I face unique problems with Windows but could there be a permanent solution?

The reason your hub manager isn't allowing you to proceed is unclear.

I understood your message after posting the issue. Even with more choices, I’m still limited unless I’m sure an option here works for me.

When no choice exists, adjust the router configuration to assign unique SSIDs for various frequency bands. If 5GHz signals are diminished, the system will automatically favor 2.4GHz instead.

I can't adjust your router settings either, and I still experience a strong signal inside the room. My device supports 5GHz, but it's working fine with my phone on that frequency.

Thanks for the assistance, though it turned out to be a hardware issue. I simply relocated the router about half a meter and it’s now working properly at 5GHz.
