Hi guys! Just got my PC built and tonight I downloaded Cinebench to check how fast my new stuff is working. I'm not too good at all the cool tech words, so some things look scary when I see them online. I am running Cinebench 2024, but my CPU is an i7 13700k and my GPU is a 7900 XT. My GPU got a score of 13532 while my CPU Multi Core was 1575 and my CPU Single Core was 116. Can anyone help me understand what this means? I read on Reddit that some people have Multi Core scores over 7,000 so is mine way too low or am I missing something? Thanks a lot! EDIT- Oops, I made a mistake before. I was using Cinebench 2024 when I should have used Cinebench R23. I redid my Multi Core test with Cinebench R23 and the score jumped to 28783. Is this a good score for my current hardware?

I think that score is normal for an i7 13700k on Cinebench R23. Some reviews show scores around 31,000 with a little wiggle room. If you don't crank the fans all the way to 100% and aren't testing in a professional open-air lab, I'd say about 29,000 is okay for real-world use. The difference could also come from slow RAM or running four sticks instead of two channels.

My Cinebench R23 scores are going up and down with my 7800x3d. The numbers change a lot depending on how well the computer cools things down and some other stuff that gets in between high and low scores around 17k.
