I've been attempting to set up a Minecraft server on my PC for the last few days. I tried forwarding port 25565 and followed the steps in my router settings, entering the correct ports and my device's IPv4 address from the cmd ipconfig command. However, when my friend tries to join, they encounter connection issues and I’m the only one who can access the server. I checked portchecker.co and found it closed, and I’ve even disabled my firewall without success, still getting the same error message. Any suggestions on how to resolve this?

The port checker is identifying FTP instead of TCP.

UDP remains popular despite its weaknesses, and many games prefer its speed and simplicity.

It looks like a visual issue. "ftp-21" acts as a dropdown menu where you can pick "minecraft-25565." Tapping check brings you back to that option. Regarding UDP, I changed the setting to UDP but it still shows the port as closed.
