I have the Gigabyte X570S AORUS PRO AX motherboard rev. 1.1 (or so it claims) and recently updated the BIOS to version F5. After finishing, my computer began to freeze unpredictably—video playback would stop suddenly, and after about 20 seconds the whole system would shut down completely, except for Task Manager or screenshots. A reboot would temporarily fix the problem, but it would keep happening randomly. Today I chose to update the BIOS via Gigabyte’s app, and they suggest rev. 1.0. The documentation from the box and motherboard states it is rev. 1.1, so I didn’t question it much. After installing through the app, nothing seemed different. What are the odds that a reflash will resolve my issue?

Rev 1.1 seems to be an updated release compared to F5. Have you attempted installing the F6a BIOS version? There could be small variations in the revision updates, so consider downloading it directly from the site (https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/X57...rt-dl-bios)
