Check the manufacturer's website for the MS-7728 v2.0 BIOS updates. Look for compatibility with i5 3470 and RX 470 8GB graphics support.

From what I've read online this is a Medion locked motherboard. It would have came with an i7-3770 as the processor so unless the CPU is locked it should allow for a 3470 without a bios update. As for the graphics cards there are several posts saying the locked nature of the board doesn't allow dedicated GPUs. Honestly, I wouldn't put money into this board, I'd look for a used standard board that's not this weird Medion locked crap.

I made a change to the graphics card in the past; I don’t recall the exact model, but it was a 2GB MSI unit that functioned well. I’m considering using an i5 2500 and it works fine. I also tried an i5 3470 but it keeps restarting repeatedly. Do you think the processor might be faulty?
